ASTRI and Alibaba Cloud Join Forces to Advance AI Innovation in Hong Kong
 

 

We proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alibaba Cloud. This partnership highlights our commitment to driving digital transformation and harnessing the full potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to elevate Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub.

This collaboration opens the door to a range of initiatives aimed at fostering groundbreaking research, innovation, and talent development in AI. Through knowledge sharing and joint efforts, we are prepared to explore the immense potential of AI, enhancing operational efficiencies and transforming industries.

 

ASTRI and HBC Limited Join Forces to Pioneer Opportunities in the Silver Economy
 

 

We are delighted to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HBC Limited. This strategic partnership focuses on advancing the silver economy by exploring and commercialising innovative technologies designed to better serve the senior community.

By combining our leading R&D expertise in digital health with HBC’s experience in customer experience and talent development, we will co-create solutions that enhance the quality of life and physical well-being of seniors. METC Annual Forum: Powering the Future – 
A Greener Smart Power and Energy System
 

 
Organised by ASTRI and co-hosted with MRDI 微電子研發院 and NAMI - Nano and Advanced Materials Institute, the Microelectronics Technology Consortium (METC) Annual Forum was successfully held on 19 January. The event attracted over 100 participants who engaged with tech and industry experts on the future of smart energy and power systems. We invite all industry stakeholders to join METC and contribute to collective industry development. Learn more.
 

Inspiring Dialogue on AI at Saint Francis University
 

 

Our CEO, Ir Dr. Ted Suen, M.H., spoke at Saint Francis University’s CEO Dialogue in the AI Era, where he delivered a presentation on AI development and collaborative innovation and joined a panel discussion with leaders from business and academia.

Ir Dr Suen highlighted how AI+, the integration of AI with technologies like 5G, blockchain, and quantum computing, is creating powerful momentum for innovation, economic growth, and social impact. He stressed that cross‑sector collaboration—spanning government, industry, academia, and research—is essential to unlocking these opportunities and shaping a smarter, more competitive future for Hong Kong.
